After completing their HSC/A Levels or undergrads, many young men and women aspire to go abroad for their higher studies. Every year scores of Bangladeshi students leave Bangladesh to pursue higher studies abroad.
In addition to their school or university transcripts, they are required to take the IELTS examination to prove their proficiency in English. More and more students are taking the IELTS each year; even working professionals are required to take the IELTS when they go abroad to undergo training.
There are two modules of the IELTS: the Academic Module and the General Training Module. The Academic Module was designed for students wishing to pursue a degree at a foreign university; the General Module is for working professionals.
This article will explain how to register for the IELTS examination with the British Council online.
