A Bangla interface has been added to UC browsers. The interface is already available on Google Play Store. However, it will be officially released this Thursday. An official ceremony has been scheduled to mark the occasion. Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce giant, has acquired UCWeb in 2014.
The program which will be hosted in the Pan Pacific Sonargaon will be attended by Alibaba’s marketing manager Siying Dong and six other UC representatives. They are scheduled to land in Dhaka today.
You can now browse online in Bangla. For this purpose, a Bangla interface has been added to UC browsers. You can download the latest edition of the UC browser from Google’s Play store. If the browser is already installed in your smartphone, you can just update it to get the latest Bangla interface incorporated edition.
UC has been successfully running their operations in Bangladesh. In August last year, a convention called ‘Users Meet Up’ took place for the first time.
According to sources, 40 per cent of smartphone internet users use UC browsers and its popularity is rising worldwide.
