Google Celebrates ICC T20, Cricket World Cup With A Doodle


Search engine giant Google has sketched out a doodle to mark the beginning of ICC T20, Cricket World Cup 2016. The tournament will kick start from March 8 and will end on April 3. The Doodle depicts two teams playing cricket in a stadium jam packed with spectators who are supporting both the teams. Google also used a big banner displaying GOOGLE in the background.

After clicking on the Doodle, one gets directed to the search page showing the detailed match schedule and other relevant details regarding the world cup. The Doodle is being seen in Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.

The event will be played across 7 venues in India with 16 teams participating for the coveted title. Bangladesh’s Tigers have to play in the qualifying stages before participating in the final stages.  Cricket lovers will have to wait till March 19 to witness the epic encounter of India and Pakistan.
